one broken collar bone!
Kate fell off her bed last night and broke her left collar bone.
The bad news-
- they can’t put a cast on it so she gets to wear this beautiful sling for the next month or so.
- She was signed up to start gymnastics in two weeks
The good news-
- she is young enough that she should heal on her own and not need surgery

Oh my gosh poor Kate! She looks so sad!!! I am so sorry! I hope she feels better soon, maybe you can teach her to do the "one arm cartwheel"!
Poor Kate!!! I hope she feels better soon. I know how she feel though, I broke mine in Junior High. It hurts!!

That is so sad, not only for Kate but you too! I am so sorry, I hate injuries in children. While I was watching the Relief Society Broadcast there was a 5 mo. old boy in the row in front of us who had a hip to toes hard cast. It was awful. At least she got to watch tv. :-(

Poor Kate. Hopefully she is adjusting to that sling and letting her collar bone heal.
The EXACT same thing happened to me when I was 7. Only I wasn't half as cute in the hospital as Kate.
